This was my first time at the DATA Festival. As a marketing manager, I had some reservations, but the mixture of overview talks, exciting panels, deep dives and a really extraordinarily friendly audience absolutely convinced me. The keynote was inspiring and the deep dive on the topic of rain forecasting was simply unbeatable. Great. Gladly again immediately!

I have been using the Trend Monitor for years to show my students what is happening in the business world with data, BI, and analytics. I also use the data directly, using the top trends to discuss key issues and challenges, as well as the background to the buzzwords.

This year’s DATA Festival’s theme was particularly relevant. How to make data analytics and AI truly impactful is one of the things that keeps me up. I enjoyed the panel discussion as we uncovered many similarities as well as differences in the way we approached this topic. It was great as we bounced off each other’s ideas.

It was an exceptionally awesome experience for me to be part of the DATA festival last month. I had a wonderful time catching up on and learning new techs currently on the market in the field of data. Moreover, it was very interesting to listen to speakers from various companies with their user cases on how they are coming up with Business Solutions through exploiting of these technologies. Overall, it was simply awesome to be there, and I would certainly not want to miss such events in future. I have already registered for the one in October (the online one – really looking forward to it).

It was my first time attending the DATA festival. For me it was a great opportunity to get to know people in the data area and exchange interesting thoughts about data in various fields. We had the pleasure to have Jacqueline as our keynote speaker for our internal Data Science Conference uniting the international community of data enthusiasts at Boehringer Ingelheim. Jacqueline highlighted the potentials and recommendations to implement Data Mesh in corporate environments. Reflecting on the high importance of innovation for the pharmaceutical industry and Boehringer Ingelheim in particular, I can only emphasize the excellent quality of her presentation and in-depth knowledge reflecting the expertise BARC is commonly known for.

The DATA Festival was very interesting and offered relevant presentations for every taste (technical experts, business users, C-level). I particularly enjoyed the technical presentations, which explained in detail how specific AI models were successfully implemented. The sessions provided in-depth insights into data architectures, data organization, and technologies currently in use.

BARC’s market research results help us identify market trends early on, and acts as one of our ‘outside-in’ validation mechanisms to make well-informed strategic decisions.

The BARC data culture workshop was very insightful, particularly the original industry survey results, which offered valuable benchmarks. It helped our participants gain a better understanding of how to measure and improve data culture, drive organizational changes, and become better data leaders. A great opportunity for organizations looking to foster a sustainable data culture and elevate their decision-making processes.
